The next handy hint is actually to do with the mixing paddle. Now, this paddle here we've actually had for a number of years, and I always try to keep it clean because if you don't, what ends up happening is you end up with a bit of epoxy, or a bit of aggregate, or a bit of something sitting on the outside of the paddle arm.

And when that brushes against the inside of your bucket, it tears off a fine hair, a fine strip. And it doesn't just do it once, it does it every time you touch the outside of your bucket. So you can end up with all these bits of fiber that are stuck in your mix and it shows up with high gloss floors.

So the tip of the day is keep your paddle clean, always make sure there's no sharp edges on it!
